“Thick Fate”(2025) presents a nonlinear narrative stage play in the form of a video (approximately 2 min) that will become a more extensive and elaborate future film. Throughout history, Fate has been understood as an indescribable force that coldly scrutinizes everyone, unable to escape its grasp.
This work documents a low moment in life, but I would like to describe it more as the first step into the future.
Thank you to my friends and my professors and advisors who have supported me along the way, and because of them I am able to take a step into a new future.
Love you all!
The newest aspect I have tried in this work is "AI Voice". So excited. The voiceover was created using myself-recorded voice sampling combined with AI synthesis technology to accurately preserve tone and emotion.
Inspirations, Artistic Process, and VR Demo
I aim to integrate VR, AI, and visual art not only to improve creative efficiency, but also to challenge the common perception of AI as "cold," "replicative," or "mechanical."
My goal is to infuse emerging technologies with humanistic emotion—making them more accessible, relatable, and emotionally resonant for audiences.
I see this as a meaningful step toward bridging technology and humanity, aligning with Meta’s mission to create immersive, empathetic, and forward-looking digital experiences.

I designed and created the "Struggling Fledgling" model (Right) using traditional methods, then integrated AI-driven animation to produce a motion (Left) that aligns perfectly with the theme of my film. The concept was clearly conveyed and received highly positive feedback during the exhibition.

I recorded clean, noise-free original voiceover audio in a quiet studio, categorized it by different tones and emotions, and then used AI voice synthesis technology to complete the entire film’s dubbing. The AI-generated voice matches my own voice with over 90% accuracy.

Again, my friends and mentors, thank you.
Remembering the past is for a better future.
